Dolphin Job Fair 09 was held on 7th February 2009 at

Manduwala, Dehra Dun (Uttarakhand). It was inaugurated
by Shri SK Goyal, Deputy General Manager, Punjab

he appreciated the efforts of Team Dolphin under the
leadership of Shri Arvind Gupta, Chairman & Managing

recession by creating a good number of jobs. Prof. KD
Purohit, OSD to the Honb’le Chief Minister and looking
after the higher education in the state presided over
the function and addressed the job seekers and the job
providers. He said that these are the tough times but
the tough times don’t last while the tough people do. He
further emphasized that if the youngsters have to
succeed in this competitive world, in these times we
should work more and talk less.
The job fair got a tremendous and fabulous response with
participation of about 50 companies of high repute and
about 1000 students from about 29 colleges across the
state, besides good participation from the universities

such a manner so as to generate the human resource which
is productive for them from day one. Shri SK Goyal,
Chief Guest during his interaction with Shri Rajeev
Verma promised to extend full financial support to those
students who are keen to become job providers rather
than job seekers by setting up their own small scale
units.
The job fair was planned with the objective of providing
jobs to the students of the state. The Dolphin has
created a history of sort by organising the event of
this magnitude and first of its kind in the state. The
